Week 2

I believe everybody has experienced loss at some point in life. Through family, pets or even items that you have a connection to. I have personally felt grief through losing a pet. I didn't find out until the next morning when I saw her in the front yard. I now a beautiful dog which I adore.

Most commonly, the following are 7 stages of greif. They may not be in this order but they are:

1) Shock and Denial-not believing what has happened

2) Pain and Guilt-Feeling the loss

3) Anger and Barganing-Wondering if it could have been prevented and getting angry and things and people because of what has happened

4) "Depression"(Reflection, Loneiness etc.)- Starting to realise that you can't change what has happened and feeling loss for it.

5) The Upward Turn- Life starting to adjust to the loss and things getting more calmer after experiencing the above

6) Reconstruction and Working Through- Your mind to work properly again not thinking as much about the loss

7) Acceptance and Hope- Accepting what has happened and not being able to change the situation. Awful pain of the loss will start to go and thinking of other things might help you get through it.
